As Lionpaw headed out of the apprentice's den he came upon Starlingpaw. "Hows get going?" he meowed groggly, as he straightened his brownish orange colored pelt.

stretching, claypaw yawned. 'uh... were's the others?' claypaw thought. padding out of den, he saw eaglewind.

"oh, hey claypaw." eaglewind greeted. "hey mom. where's dawnpaw, lillypaw, and dragonpaw?" claypaw asked. "well, lillypaw went out to gather herbs.... and dawnpaw and dragonpaw went out to train." eaglewind thought. "oh..." claypaw looked down. "oh don't worry. you can go hunt." eaglewind smiled. "okay." claypaw said.
"hey dawnpaw! watch!" dragonpaw called. "ah... where are you?" dragonpaw asked frightfully. a nearby bush quivered. "oh dawnpaw. you know you aren't that good at stalking like claypaw." dragonpaw sighed. "mouse dung!" dawnpaw muttered. "here's a move i le-!!" dragonpaw cut of. "oph! claypaw!" dragonpaw complained. "got you again." claypaw chuckled.
"we need more catmint for greencough." lillypaw pondered.

Lionpaw heard that Lilypaw was outside of camp, so her yawned and headed off. As he entered the territory he sniffed the air, "There she is!" he meowed quietly and padded over to her. "Need any help?" he then asked.

"thanks. do you know were some catmint is? or any herbs we can use?" lillypaw asked.
padding up to his mate, harespring said, "he's our kits doing? they seem scared of me..." harespring sighed. "that's because they don't know you that much honey." eaglewind soothed. "your right." harespring said.
"really claypaw!" dragonpaw complained. "i'm so sorry you can't scent the air. i tried to make myself obvious too." claypaw laughed.
ooc: i realized that harespring is a cat from the book.

Lionpaw looked around, "Ummmm." he mewed, his voice viberating. "Is this something you can use?" he meowed over his shoulder as he stood by a small bush with little berries.

"oh yes, that's juniper berries, use for healing stomache aches." lillypaw smiled. "now, carry a branch so it will be easier." lillpaw commanded.

Lionpaw nodded and did just as told, but as he picked it up, he wobbled abit. He then glanced at lillypaw embarresingly, praying that she had not seen his clumsy wobble.

lillypaw saw lionpaw wobble, but she didn't show it.
"so ya wanna hunt with me?" claypaw asked. "uh-" dragonpaw said before he got cut off. "who ever catches the most prey gets a rabbit with honey and herbs. GO!" claypaw yelled ask he ran the other way. "oh claypaw." dawnpaw and dragonpaw sighed.
in the end, claypaw got the still warm rabbit with herbs and honey.
